One year from the M34's first "Tour de France à la Voile" (TFV), we can confirm that 12 boats of this type have already been ordered, among which 2 boats for export.
Other ten or so projects are going to materialize in the next 2 months. This constitutes a promising fleet yet…
The interest in this boat does not end with the TFV. With its complete program which will also be composed of several events such as a French championship, a Helmsmen-Owners championship or a transatlantic team race, the M34 appears to be a multi-purpose one design par excellence.
The French Sailing Federation and the organizer of the TFV ("Editions Larivière") committed themselves to buy 2 M34 each. This agreement is a pretty good evidence of the fad for this boat.
Some owners' boats, but also a first series of five M34 will be available to the rent at Sailing Styl Compétition Company at Pornic (FRANCE), at the end of the year. Some others will follow on spring 2011.
The M34 is nominated at the competition of the European Sailing Boat of the year 2011, and it's going to be shown at the following autumn boat shows :

- Grand Pavois – La Rochelle – France: on September from 15th to 20th
- Annapolis boat show – United States: on October from 7th to 11th
- Barcelona – Spain: on November from 6th to 14th

June 26, the M34 had been officially shown at the « Tour de France à la Voile » at Dunkerque.

After Dean Barker baptized it, the M34 has made its very first tacks next to 2010 FTV competitors.

This moment has been immortalized by one of the best sea photographer, Jean-Marie Liot who’s kindly sent us some photos.

We have proceeded to the first M34 sail tests, directed by Bernard Nivelt and Alexandre Mercier, our naval architects.
Different technical staffs also project partners as SP High Modulus, Southern Spars, Nexus, North, Isotop, joined us  to participate to these first runs.
William Borel, director of "the Tour" and Cyrille Legloahec, the "Batistyl / Ville de Pornic" skipper did not hidded their joy!
The boat gave us a high feeling of power, speed, really smoothy and reliable...
Sailing downwind 130/140°, 17 knots of wind, speedo came easily to 15 and more giving a good  idea of her real potential.
Try was ok, then! we want nothing but sail again  asap the M34 please!
Next step as far we are concerned, will be the boat presentation at the "Tour de france à la Voile" in Dunkerque from June the 24/26th.
